We grew up in Norwich and yet were struck when, returning years later to rejoin it’s beautiful countryside and friendly lifestyle, we found that there were so many fantastic and interesting places that were not really being publicised. We also noticed that a whole bunch of fantastic new places to visit, eat, drink and stay had arrived while we were away.

Surprised by the lack of visibility or publicity of information about such places, we saw the need for a resource where they could all be accessed easily, in one place. Hence, EnjoyNorwich.com was born.

We have also been surprised on many occasions by people's responses when we told them that we came from Norwich. It seems that, to many people, Norwich - and Norfolk in general - are deeply situated in the wilderness.

As Norwich and the surrounding area continues to regenerate and expand, we also thought that visitors to the City might enjoy being able to use a simple bank of information about the wonderful and unique attractions that Norwich has to offer.

Norwich should not be thought of as a 'funny little City' that is stuck at the latter stages of the A47. We’re sure that Norwich can offer some truly delightful places to stay, relax, visit and shop, as well as being a City worth promoting as a place to do business in and from.
